Saturday 9: Don’t Talk to Strangers

Welcome to Saturday: 9. What we’ve committed to our readers is that we will post 9 questions every Saturday. Sometimes the post will have a theme, and at other times the questions will be totally unrelated. Those weeks we do “random questions,” so-to-speak. We encourage you to visit other participants posts and leave a comment. Because we don’t have any rules, it is your choice. We hate rules. We love memes, however, and here is today’s meme!

Saturday 9: Don’t Talk To Strangers

1. Has talking to a stranger ever caused you a problem?
Did you just say stranger? My mother told me not to talk to strangers, lol.

2. Have you ever gloated or wanted to brag over success?
No, never had that in me. I go by the motto “Live and Let Live” despite the fact that I am surrounded by people whose main achievement in life is to gloat and brag. I just laugh at them because it just shows their real character, intelligence and breeding, or lack of thereof.

3. What do enjoy most about your life?
Certainly not the taxes and monthly bills, no? But, oh, of course, the rest I enjoy, especially answering blog memes, one of my guilty pleasures.

4. Do you ever over think a situation in your life?
My husband said I do (especially when it involves numbers, ack!) but to me it’s just calculating the risks and benefits over and over, lol.

5. Tell us about your best friend.
Can I name two? They are Max and Joe, they have four legs, furry bodies, wet noses and give wet kisses. They are camera-shy though.

6. How important is intelligence when picking (or having picked) a mate to you?
I think compatibility and attachment far outweigh the intelligence factor when choosing a mate. Not looking for MENSA category but for sure, he must know how to read, write and count, no?

7. What’s the closest situation that you’ve had to dealing with an enemy?
I am my own enemy. I deal with myself everyday. The rest are just fictional characters.

8. What was the circumstance that led to your most recent utterance of aha!?
When I found one of my dogs burying the treat I gave her in one of the potted plants at home, lol.

9. Have you ever tried getting even?

Yes, I tried a lot of times when I was younger.
I have no problem with brand-conscious people (that’s my Live and Let Live applied here) but this older cousin of mine thinks that people (like me) who don’t wear (or use) brands are low class. {Oooh. Sadly, the world is full of them.}What a big doofus he is. So, in one of our family Christmas gatherings, I bought him a pack of cigarette that I purchased from a local cheap smoke shop and replaced the packaging to that of a luxury brand of cigarettes. He didn’t even notice anything, lol. There.

  1. Katie, nice of you to come b y this week. As I said, it is okay to be brand-conscious as long as they don’t think of themselves as better than those who aren’t. I like organic stuff, too!
